I thought I'd give Jemima a little of my banana as she was staring at it very intently and looked like she might make a dive for it ! She did not of course eat the whole bit that I gave her but enjoyed the new taste and holding something.

- Thirty-four year old first time mother, enjoying it more than anything I've ever done. I'm not sure I should find being a mother and housewife this fulfilling given my previously radically feminist stance on life... but actually it is ! And I think that's ok. I want this blog to be a record of my baby's development for her to see in the future and my thoughts and feelings as we go.
